Evidence and concerns

Does it help muscle, fat loss or sleep?

Name the change you want. Then ask whether a study actually tested that change in people.

The claims run ahead of the studies

The FDA review describes marketing claims about weight, sleep, ageing and bodybuilding.

The published studies in people checked by October 1, 2026, did not test those goals.

Ask for a human study that matches your goal, the product and the way it would be given.

Animal findings need a clear boundary

Ipamorelin preserved some muscle strength and bone-building activity in rats given a steroid drug.

That finding has not been tested in people.

In a mouse study, ipamorelin increased body fat and food intake.

The mouse result does not establish that people will gain weight.

Ask about a proposed blend

As of October 1, 2026, a search of research papers found no human trial of ipamorelin combined with CJC-1295.

CJC-1295 is the other peptide named in that blend.

Ask for evidence on the combination itself.

Bring the goal back into focus: what other approach has evidence for the change I want?
