Start with the kind of visit you need
You could start with your usual doctor or another licensed health professional, called a clinician. Ask about a visit at a clinic or by video or phone. Ask whether they assess your concern.
Describe the goal in plain words: what has changed, what you hope will change and what you have already tried.
Ask who will assess you and who can answer follow-up questions.
A real assessment can change the plan
The medical boards’ federation says picking a treatment from a menu alone does not meet its care standard.
The guidance also calls for a way for patients to ask their clinician follow-up questions.
Treat a promised prescription as something to question. Ask what happens if the clinician decides against it.
A location and licence check come first
US health department guidance, as of September 2026, says your clinician must be licensed or otherwise legally allowed to treat you in your state.
Give your location by state for the time of the visit. Check the clinician’s name against the relevant state board record.
Ipamorelin has no FDA approval as of October 1, 2026. It does not meet the legal conditions for ordinary pharmacies to use it as an ingredient.
